I’m super behind on blogging since things have been pretty crazy around here with wedding season in full swing but this little lady’s session just needed to be shared! You might recognize her from her fresh 48 session! I absolutely love shooting both fresh 48 and newborn sessions for my clients! It is SO fun to see how much babies change in just a couple weeks!

Sweet baby Vada Marie! I couldn’t get over all her chunk! I loved seeing how much she had changed in just the few days since her Fresh 48 session!

As parents we can’t wait to meet our babies once they are born. We spend hours dreaming about what they are going to look like. Will they have Mom’s eyes or Dad’s nose, Dark hair or no hair, the list goes on and on! 

When sweet baby Leah’s momma contacted me to book her session I was a bit in denial that she was old enough to be having babies since I knew her older sister in high school. I’m officially getting older than I think folks! Leah made a surprise entrance when she made her arrival 3 weeks before her due date! She weighed in at just 5lbs 13oz and 20 inches long but she still had some chunk on her! Such a cute little honey, she was so good for her session! Congratulations Sarah and Adam, she is beautiful!

Since the Orange City Tulip Festival is this weekend I thought Emeri’s tulip inspired session just had to be shared! If you aren’t Dutch or from Northwest Iowa you may not have heard of the Tulip Festival. The festival is a three day annual event packed full of all things Dutch from food, costumes, singing, dancing, wooden shoes, and of course LOTS of tulips! 

Scarlett was in the studio recently for her newborn session and I just couldn’t get over all cuteness! She was one of the smiliest babies I have had in a long time! I loved her dark and fluffy hair and those squishy back rolls that are only cute on babies! 😉 

Bailey was such a sweetheart to me. Her mom is a past co-worker of mine and it was so great to catch-up and get some baby snuggles in with her during the shoot. Not to mention she was one of the sleepiest babes I’ve had to date. 

These 2 sweethearts have a pretty incredible story as they were carried by their surrogate mother and delivered in Des Moines and then came home to their loving family in Terrill. They drove all the way here to see me and were so sweet to me! <3

Sweet baby Kayden. Kayden’s parents are good friends of ours and it’s hard to believe big brother Landen is already in school. Time flies. Kayden is so handsome and was the perfect model for me. <3
