Graham and Mariah had such a beautiful wedding day! Not only was their day great but they also have an incredible story. The couple first became friends when Graham moved into the house in Mariah’s neighborhood, they were just 2 years old! When they were in fourth grade, Graham moved across town. Fast forward to Junior High and they started dating in the 7th grade. They continued to date through High School and even as they went off to separate colleges but quickly realized the long distance thing wasn’t for them.
Graham proposed to Mariah on their 6 year anniversary at the house he grew up in. He had the lined the house with candles and joked about how they used to play house together and asked “Will you play house with me forever?” I mean all the tears! How cute are they? Now the time had come for their big day and it was just as perfect as their story. The ladies got ready in gorgeous floral robes, and the whole day had a classic black tie theme complete with gold accents. Terrace View Event Center in Sioux Center made the perfect backdrop for their theme and worked so well to host both the ceremony and reception in their venue. The reception was complete with a delicious smores bar, perfect for the kiddos and kids at heart.
How adorable is that photo of them as little kids?! Too cute.
I loved all the gorgeous gold accents against the black and white decor. It made such a statement!
We snuck outside for a few “sunset” shots even though there wasn’t a pretty sunset I couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous, moody look of these images.
